Max Cohen Martin Steren

Gear Specialist/Quartermaster(s): Max Cohen and Martin Steren
Max and Martin are responsible for handling issues with damaged gear as well as making sure all gear is accounted for on a bi-weekly basis. They also coordinate parts orders and let Jordan and Watts know accurate numbers of the available items in inventory.

Suzanne Bay Tara Daily

Outdoor Adventure Series Coordinators: Suzanne Bay and Zhima Chen
Suzanne and Zhima are responsible for coordinating the majority of Outdoor Adventure Series programs – from working with site administrators and processing registrations to assisting in advertising the trips. They also keep the Outpost information board up to date with the latest outdoor adventure-related events in the Outpost, Duke, and Durham.

Mark Pratt Cameron Setzer

Bike Mechanics: Mark Pratt and Cameron Setzer
Without Duke Bikes, there would be no Outpost! Mark and Cam are responsible for ensuring the bikes are all in service and accounted for, as well as fixing bikes that need repair. They keep track of our parts bikes inventory and coordinate parts orders throughout the semester. They also work with Levi Dexel of the Duke Recreational Sports Program to organize the Duke Forest mountain biking Adventure Series program.

Marcus Andrew

Marketing/Design Specialist: Marcus Andrew
Marcus, an expert in graphic design, is responsible for making sure the entire campus knows what the Outpost is doing through advertising and marketing. He designs our flyers, keeps our website updated, maintains the Outpost’s social media presence (Faceboook, Twitter, etc.), and assists in promoting the different programs and services the Outpost has to offer.
