Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Conversations
A special opportunity exists for undergraduate and graduate students wishing to engage their peers in dialogue within the Duke and Durham communities about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The theme for the University’s campus-wide commemoration and celebration of Dr. King focuses on youth and their engagement in social change. Duke students are invited to host Duke faculty and staff or any local figure in special lunch Duke Conversations on the Martin Luther King Day, January 21, 2008.
The first twenty-five approved Duke Conversations will be a part of this program. Lunches will convene from 11 am – 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm – 2 pm. Students must fill out the current Duke Conversations application and follow special instructions to be a part of the King program.
