OSAF Crash Courses are designed to give participants a quick education about a particular topic presented by an array of instructors.
Crash Course topics can be on almost anything (safe and appropriate). Crash Courses teach skills that are social, serious, educational, recreational, unnecessary, hobby/craft-related, smart, random, silly, political, imperative... whatever.
Instruction may or may not be by a professional or an expert, but instructors are knowledgeable in their particular subject area.
By definition, Crash Courses are short, lasting no more than 2-3 hours on a particular evening. Crash Courses are designed to be completed in one session; participants need not attend follow-up sessions to complete any given course.
Unless otherwise noted, Crash Courses are free. Crash Courses are open to students, faculty, and staff. Class sizes will be small and intimate, as most Crash Courses are open to a maximum of 25 participants. Some Crash Courses may require lower attendance caps as deemed necessary by program coordinators and/or instructors.
