The purpose of Leadership Roundtable is to help participating first-year students excel in both titular and non-titular leadership roles in the campus and greater community by accomplishing the following five goals:

• Prepare participants for responsible and positive contributions to the campus community while at Duke
• Help participants experience a progressive and evolving understanding of leadership
• Aid participants in developing relationships with administrators by exposing them to campus officials outside of their “typical” setting and role
• Make participants aware of the multitude of campus facilities and resources
• Support participants in developing a network of peers and potential future student leaders
