What is a cost center?
Also known as a fund code, the cost center is a seven digit number assigned to your organization that is used for all financial transactions. You should treat your cost center like a bank account number and never give it to any department or vendor without proper paperwork or authorization.
If you don't know your organization's cost center, please visit the OSAF Business Office.
Monthly financial statements and reports are generated by cost center. Treasurers are expected to review financial reports on a monthly basis and should request information from the OSAF Business Office.
