Faculty + Lunch = FLUNCH
Duke Student Government (DSG), in partnership with the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Education, is providing an opportunity for undergraduates to take their professors to lunch (or dinner, but FLINNER didn't sound as good as FLUNCH!)
FLUNCH allows students to invite faculty to dine with them at a variety of on campus locations, all on the university's dime. The hope is that students will use the opportunity to establish lasting relationships with faculty members they might not have developed in the classroom.
Please note: Due to the popularity of the program, each undergraduate student may host no more than 2 FLUNCHes per semester. The FLUNCH program does not cover alcohol purchases. Participants are asked to demonstrate responsible stewardship of university resources.
